'Managing multinational virtual teams - workshop for female IT managers'

Do you sometimes wonder how messages get “lost in translation” when managing international teams spread across disparate locations?
Do you feel overwhelmed with the constant chasing for actions and deliverables?
Do you wish you had a communication strategy for to build trust and strengthen commitment within your virtual team?

Managing virtual teams is a science as well as an art. Building trust and engaging teams who are based in different locations requires an in-depth understanding of cultural norms as well as highly-tuned leadership techniques. Women’s leadership skills are sometimes put to the test, particularly with cultures which may have a different perception and acceptance of women in business.

This workshop is designed to offer participants:
  • Working frameworks and their implications for day-to-day operations
  • Tenets for successful kick-off and long-term management of the virtual team members
  • Techniques to increase trust and integrate a remote team
  • Ways to build strong relationships within challenging working cultures
  • Hands-on experience for managing the virtual team activity by harnessing the power of technology
  • Concerted overall communications plan to ensure appropriate information is shared whilst reducing endless meeting time
