Through our customer supply business we handle the energy accounts for over 15 million customers and are the biggest energy provider in Britain’s domestic market. Through our downstream business we source and supply gas from our own gas fields in the UK and internationally. We produce around 70% of our peak electricity demand from our gas-fired power stations, four wind farms and major contracts. Our trading business Accord trades energy and emissions with major players in the European market.

Our Information Systems (IS) teams play a key role at every stage of the energy supply process by delivering robust systems to challenging environments, from offsite gas fields to customer contact centres handling accounts for over 3 million home services customers. The energy industry is a dynamic industry, so IS change has to be agile to continue to drive value for customers and ensure the business remains an industry leader. Our IS professionals develop and deliver best-in-class solutions to enable innovation and business transformation.
