Attributes of a Leader
This course will facilitate an understanding of leadership style and help with recognition of strengths and potential de-railers (Behaviour which can sabotage success). Delegates attending the course will develop an understanding of:
- Individual leadership strengths
- The relationship between power, culture and leadership
- Attributes of great leaders and managers
- How to develop strong, trustworthy relationships with team members
- Understand the difference between managing, leading and coaching
- The skills of building high-performing teams
This course will be facilitated by Salma Shah:
Salma’s career commenced within the IT industry where her roles were predominately customer facing including sales, pre- sales support and management. She has worked for organisations such as Oracle, PeopleSoft and Systems Union dealing with IT customers, both from a commercial and technical perspective. She now runs a training and consultancy practise and her training methodology is based on personal knowledge and 15+ years experience of the IT industry. Salma is also a business psychologist with NLP certification and an accredited coach. Other areas of specialism include the building of high performance teams, executive coaching and mentoring, career development/planning and leadership training.
