Equality Act: Basic Discrimination Practice

Thanks so everyone who braved the heavy rain to come along to the Equality Act Breakfast Briefing on Tuesday 8th June.

The presentation started with Partner Andreas White introducing the Equality Act and how it will harmonise and strengthen discrimination and equal opportunities law. He gave an overview of the new Act and its practical implications for employers, discussing both direct and indirect Discrimination. Solicitor Martin Pratt then took over to talk about Equal Pay and Occupational Requirements and exceptions.
