Employment Law Advice Session with Kervin & Barnes
Date: Tuesday 2nd March 2010, 5.30pm to 7pm
Bullying and harassment in the workplace is a serious issue. It can be damaging to individuals and costly for companies; ranging from increased absence in the workforce to full-blown legal proceedings. Implementing and communicating policies and procedures to promote dignity at work is essential if the risk is going to be managed effectively.
This employment law advice session covered the legal and HR issues involved with bullying, harassment and discrimination within the workplace including potential costs to an employer and how to implement change.
