The IT profession has evolved so fast that everyone seems to be an expert, from primary school level upwards. But where are we going, and are we there yet?
What do you need to practise IT as a job, and to justify being paid to do so?
Knowledge of some IT tools and techniques? Experience? In-depth expertise? Training? Qualifications? Certification? Membership of a professional body? Or just a bluffer's guide to computing?
At this event we’ll consider different aspects of IT professionalism - and some of the challenges and opportunities faced by our profession.
Come and join us to see how you can develop your portfolio of IT skills - and how to benefit more from the fast-evolving world of IT professionalism.
Our expert presenters are:
DAVID CLARKE, Chief Executive Officer, BCS
TERRY NEAL, Director, EMEA, SANS Institute
SARB SEMBHI, President, London Chapter, ISACA
ADAM THILTHORPE, Director of Professionalism, BCS
