International MINTiFF Conference
Don’t think it’s only Entertainment: STEM and Equal Opportunities in TV Drama Format

The International Conference aims to:
present central research results relating to STEM and Equal Opportunities in TV Drama-Formats to a larger public
discuss successful international examples for STEM and Equal Opportunities in TV Drama Formats with TV- and filmmakers
present methods developed in foreign countries and by the MINTiFF project that foster STEM-Entertainment-Education-Quality
pursue the question to what extent (STEM-) entertainment-education-strategies comply with the cultural and educational mandate of public broadcasters, and whether they offer a chance to emphasize the public value of TV Drama-Formats
reveal the methods that – from the viewpoint of programming practice – are required to reach younger audiences and to bring the priorities of programming practice into line with social educational requirements
show which challenges and tasks arise for science organizations, the educational system and funding programs
