WES Annual Conference 2010
Making Digital Britain, incorporating the Doris Gray Student Conference is now live!
About the Conference
The WES Annual Conference is the premier event in the UK connecting and inspiring women at all career stages in engineering, technology and science. Hear from the leaders in the field of engineering science and technology on tackling change and how to plan for a digital future. Invited speakers include technical leaders, though leaders and personal development professionals.
This year, the WES Annual Conference will also incorporate the WES Doris Gray Student Conference which celebrated its inaugural event in 2009 and was hugely successful. The 2010 promises to be even more successful as students attending can not only listen to a number of high profile speakers and participate in workshops, but also have the opportunity to attend a Gala Dinner and network with industry professionals.
Dates & Venues
This year's event will take place from Friday 19th November to Sunday 21st November 2010 and is being held in Sheffield. The main venue for the event is Kenwood Hall, with Cutler’s Hall being used to hold the Gala Dinner on Friday evening.
Event Programme
The main WES Annual Conference will begin on Friday morning with a series of presentations and will be followed by a Gala Dinner at Cutler’s Hall. The main conference then continues on Saturday with further talks and workshops before coming to a close on Saturday afternoon. Delegates are welcome to stay on for Saturday evening and Sunday for the student event if they wish for an additional charge.
The Student event will begin with attendance at the Gala Dinner on Friday 19th November at the stunning Cutler's Hall, followed by two days of inspiring talks and interactive workshops and training sessions at charming Kenwood Hall. The event will close at 1500hrs on Sunday 21st November.
An event website is currently being developed and more details of the speakers and programme will be available shortly, however in the meantime we would like to invite delegates to register to attend this fantastic event.
