What a Pair London
One very special night…
A magical evening of rousing duets from female celebrities to raise funds for Cancer Research UK
Date:
Friday 4th June
Location:
IndigO2, the O2, Greenwich, London
On June 4th 2010 What A Pair!, the LA production which has been wowing US audiences in recent years, will bring a taste of Hollywood to the UK to raise funds for Cancer Research UK’s breast cancer research.
What A Pair! USA has featured stars including Debbie Harry, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jessica Biel and leading women from CSI, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and many more. What A Pair! London promises to be just as spectacular! Taking place at the IndigoO2 What A Pair! London will be a West End calibre production of duets sung by an eclectic array of female stars of television, film, music and stage from both the UK and America.
Some great names already signed up for What A Pair! London include Tony Award winning musical director Martin Koch, Olivier Award winning director Karen Bruce who recently appeared as a choreographer on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ for the BBC, CSI’s Marg Helgenberger, ‘Friends’ Maggie Wheeler, Jane Leeves from hit sitcom ‘Frasier’, ‘Parent Trap’s’ Elaine Hendrix, Lisa Ann Walters from Hollywood blockbusters ‘War of the Worlds’ and ‘Bruce Almighty’ and Tamzin Outwaithe. Many more stars on both sides of the pond will be coming onboard in the weeks to come.
The VIP Party
What A Pair! London will offer its VIPs an extra special experience. 360 VIPs will enjoy the evening from their banqueting tables on the ground floor level close to the stage. A table of 12 costs £2,500 and for this you will enjoy a lavish champagne reception, three course meal and a very special event with the stars after the 90 minute show has finished. Here, guests will enjoy the chance to see the celebrities up close, take part in Cancer Research UK’s very special fundraising activities and enjoy private performances from the stage.
Breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK. Each year in this country about 46,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. Of these women, almost two thirds are now likely to survive for at least 20 years. We are making progress. With your support we can do much more.
For more information or to book your table, please contact Niamh Cooney on 0207 438 5430 or email
