How Smart Women Manage their Career

Men are typically much more vocal in stating what they want from their career. Women often wait to be discovered. Therefore it is important that women are proactive in managing their career whatever direction it takes; those that do are smart. In this workshop we will show you how to be smarter in the management of your career.

We will provide you with 5 PROVEN career management steps to show others how smart you really are; whether you are new to employment, thinking about contracting/going permanent, coming back into employment after a career break or wanting to forge on up to the top. Our PROVEN career management model will include covering the importance of planning your career, creating career goals, understanding the expectations managers and organisations have on their talent, building a positive reputation and the benefits of networking. This will ensure you achieve what you want from your career rather than hoping you get what you want.

Outcomes:
  • A structured approach to managing your career
  • Tools, exercises and reference to models to help you be smarter in the management of your career
  • Tips and suggestions on being a woman in business and how you can even the odds against men when managing your careers

This workshop will be lead by Diana Hogbin-Mills.
