The BBC is looking for an Acceptance & Handover Co-ordinator to help ensure the smooth technological transition back into Business As Usual on The BBC's W1 Programme.
The W1 Programme aims to deliver a state-of-the-art media centre in central London (W1) which will be an iconic home for the BBC’s national and international journalism coverage. This role sits within the Technology Operations team that has provided broadcast and production support throughout the W1 campus.
Reporting to the Acceptance & Handover Manager the Acceptance & Handover Co-ordinator will be expected to do the following on a day to day basis to ensure the smooth transition from Project to Business As Usual within Technology Operations Support:
• Verify with MPI that each facility is ready to be tested prior to testing resources being deployed
• Ensure agreed acceptance criteria are met and all documentation is handed over from MPI
• Ensure the documentation and supporting information (e.g. licences, warranties) are received, lodged and stored for testing and approval and is accessible to approved Testing and support staff
• Ensure all documents and supporting information e.g. manuals, licences, warranties, CDs, DVDs are stored in a safe and secure location and accessible to approved Testing and support staff
