Analyst Developer, Global Rates and Currencies Technology, AVP

Summary of Business Area
This role is for a .NET Developer to work within Fixed Income Sales Systems Technology group which is part of Global Rates and Currencies Technology (GRCT)

The current team consists of 5 developers (4 based in India and 1 based in London ) and 1 more developer to be recruited in London . The team supports firm’s Fixed income (Structured Products) business based in London , and NY and Asia Pac regions.

Role Responsibilities
One position has arisen for .Net (C#) Developer within the Fixed Income Sales Systems technology group. The group is responsible for delivering new and enhanced front-office trading applications for the Structured Notes desks based in London and New York .

The successful candidate will join the London development team reporting to the local development manager. They will be primarily responsible for designing and building enterprise level applications using Microsoft .Net. Additional responsibilities may include enhancements to existing ASP. NET web applications.

Skill Requirements
Essential: 
  • Strong Development skills in . NET , C#, ASP, SQL 
  • Experience liaising with end users 
  • A good understanding of Object Orientation and database design methodologies 
  • An understanding of the full project lifecycle with some experience of requirements gathering and testing
Desirable 
  • Exposure to WCF, WPF 
  • Knowledge of Market Data technologies (TIBCO, Reuters Libraries) 
  • Knowledge of SCRUM development methodology
