Analyst Developer

A leading investment bank requires a developer with full development lifecycle experience to take on a second in command role within their Execution and Clearing team. You will be working in a fast paced technology driven business area, with a long track record of sustained growth within the bank and the industry.

To succeed in this role, you will be a self starter, able to be responsible for and manage your own projects through the whole development lifecycle as well as being able to lead local teams of up to 4 people. Initially the role is a mix of hands-on development and managerial responsibilities but you will be looking to move into a more managerial role in a couple of years.

Essential: 
  • Full development lifecycle experience 
  • Strong object oriented principles and development experience in either C++/Java or possibly C# and someone who looks at technology as a tool to solve problems 
  • Good knowledge of Sybase 
  • Agile development practices
  • Strong team player
