RESPONSIBILIITES
The role requires an analyst/developer based in London to work as part of this Core Data global IT team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of strategic initiatives, and will also be involved in the maintenance of all systems. They will also be expected to provide first line support alongside other team members.
The role requires analysis of business flows and development of technical solutions in conjunction with members of the teams in London, NY and Bangalore. There will be full life-cycle involvement from analysis and design through to implementation and support, including project management aspects. There will be a need to work with a variety of teams within the GSAM business and technology across the globe. Responsibilities will include working with end-users. The ability to manage several streams of work simultaneously is essential. Strong team working and communication skills are required to handle the business interaction and the global nature of projects.
SKILL / EXPERIENCE
MANDATORY
A graduate with minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including:
• Strong analytical and technical skills and excellent team work are essential.
• An ability to communicate clearly with a diverse set of technologists and business users.
• Must be willing to handle first line support calls and work on a support rota.
• Core Java

PREFERRED
• Experience in financial products or accounting functions is desirable, as is previous technical design experience.
• Experience in market data systems is an advantage.
