The ETandD department is responsible for all end User Computing needs. These range from simple fault resolution through to large project implementation. The department is divided into smaller (approximately) business aligned support teams, each responsible for a supporting either Debt, Equity, Investment Banking, Back Office Operations and Private Client businesses.
Responsibilities
The role is working within a Equity Front Office business aligned support team, responsible for delivering all end user computing support. The user base is located within the EMEA headquarters within the city. The role primarily entails the support and ensuring the integrity of the desktop. Strong client centric skills are essential. Team of eight engineers on average close around 850 service desk calls and Work Orders a month.
Requirements
Technical Front Office experience required - Xtra, Bloomberg (including BB Anywhere). Printer set up and troubleshooting. Blackberry set up, inc BBG and Reuters. Administering Windows NAS Share\File permission. Personal Attributes Required: Excellent customer focus. Analytical mindset. Strong interpersonal skills. Desire to work in a fast pace trading environment.
