We are looking for a PC Support Technician to work in a desktop support team. The applicant will be expected to work an 8 hour shift pattern to cover periods between 07.00 – 19.00. The position would suit someone who likes providing a high level of support in a pressurised but exciting environment. The person while experienced in the configuration and installation of workstations would be performing a second level support role. Previous experience within a financial services organisation is an advantage.

Requirements
The individual should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a PC support role covering installation, configuration, support and problem resolution.
Experience is required in the following:
· Windows XP workstation clients
· MS Office suite applications
· Outlook 2002/2003/2007
· Virus scanners and backup utilities (McAfee, IronMountain)
· Dell desktop and laptop hardware
· Networked printing
· Working knowledge of TCPIP
· Virtual workstation
· Desktop encryption
· Blackberry
Additionally experience in some of the following would be an advantage:
· Working knowledge of WINS, DHCP, and DNS
· Exchange
· Microsoft Windows XP workstation administration and support.
· Trader support
· Six Sigma or ITIL processes
· SharePoint
