Assistant Tax Advisor - Expatriate Tax

The purpose of the job will be to provide technical support to more senior members of staff, with the longer-term aim of developing into a tax professional. The role will be critical in ensuring a high quality, consistent service is provided to our clients and the successful candidate will develop a deep knowledge and understanding of our clients to ensure stability and continuity is maintained.

Your client responsibilities:

- Quick learner; able and willing to carry out a range of client and technical work
- Commercially aware with a general interest in business and finance
- A degree of flexibility to meet client / department needs and deadlines.


Your people responsibilities:

- Team player; ability to integrate with new teams quickly
- Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output
- Expatriate Tax experience desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
- Study support may be available towards the ATT or CTA as applicable
- Good numerical skills
- Calm & methodical, can adhere to and manage deadlines
- Excellent communication skills - written, questioning and listening
- Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
- Self-starter; willing to be accountable for their decisions and output
- Degree - minimum 2:1 A-Levels or equivalent - 2 (preferably grade C or above)
- GCSE's - 6 (grade C or above, including maths and English language)
- Computer literate.
