Audio Lead

Title: Audio Lead
Reports to: Director Localization
Department: Product Services & Localization Dublin


Summary;
The Product Services & Localisation (PS&L)L team in Dublin is looking for an Audio Lead who has the ability to lead a high performing audio team consisting of multi-disciplinary audio producers focused on audio localization, development, sound design, voice recording and field recording. The position requires leadership capabilities from a business and people perspective with an emphasis on innovation, collaboration and execution excellence.

The ideal candidate will excel at people management, planning, leadership, customer/partner engagement, product execution and delivery.

Responsibilities
Holds the team accountable on commitments to exceed project goals. Supports the team through project cycle, coaching and mentoring at appropriate levels to deliver on objectives.
Ensures the Audio team delivers their project portfolio on time, hits/exceeds our quality standards and return on investment.
Continuous use of new technology and systems delivering innovative solutions which improves our processes, product quality, solutions to our customers and ROI.
Accountable for working closely with the other senior leaders in PS&L such as Test, IPE, and Development ensuring audio resources are used effectively and team is aligned to project goals.
Ensures the Audio team has a clear understanding of its commitment and connection to our business groups, in particular MGS and our customers.
Has a full understanding of MGS Audio development processes and the differences which may exist across the various Studios.
Appropriately aligns with our PS&L teams in Tokyo and Redmond to achieve project results, ensuring that deliverables are compatible and fit for market across all regions.
Accountable for yearly budget proposals and management of budget to target with emphasis on financial efficacy.
Has the appropriate organization in place with skilled resources optimized for success.
Partners with HR to set standards for recruiting and developing talent within the team.
Conducts high-quality performance reviews for all team members, holds regular 1:1s with an emphasis on personal development, coaching and team health.
Has succession plans in place for top talent, including their successor and key ICs within the team.
Accountable for the overall health of the organization

Essential Requirements
Proven track record in leading/managing multi-disciplinary audio teams preferably within games environment
Qualifications should include 10+ years experience in audio production for consumer entertainment products (Games, TV, Film)
Demonstrated experience engaging with actor agencies/representatives, recording studios and post-production facilities
Passion for technology and the use of technology for process improvement
Excellent communication skills are a must, both written and verbal
Enthusiastic team player who positively contributes to the teams goals and success
Innovative thinking from a business and people perspective

Desirable Requirements

Computer Science/Information Technology or Audio Production degree or equivalent technical qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work across multi-functional teams including other geographical regions
