Busines Analyst, Global Corporate and Commercial Investment Banking Technology, officer

Role Responsibilities
A Junior business analyst is required for the banks product reference data team within the Global Corporate Commercial and Investment Banking Technology (GCCIBT) EMEA.
The role includes: 
  • Requirements gathering 
  • Business Analysis and Specification 
  • System and integration testing and report generation in EXcel and SQL. 
  • User Training

The role involves working closely with reference data users and our technology partners across referential data within the Bank. The role would suit a person who has gained some experience with reference data and is looking to move into team with global responsibility for reference data for a large Investment Bank.

Candidates are expected to have a good systems analysis background with experience in all phases of the project lifecycle, particularly requirements gathering, along with some SQL experience.

Candidates must be self-motivated, resilient and have excellent communication skills. They must be able to form effective and appropriate relationships with both business and technology partners.

Excellent trouble shooting skills and of course the ability to work under pressure

Summary of Business Area
This is a junior role within GCDS EMEA. The position will be a key point of contact for the EMEA business areas for reference data. Whilst the main focus is on product data; knowledge of Client data would be of interest along with vendor products such as Bloomberg, Dun and Bradstreet and Standard and Poor’s Key areas of product interest include Equity, Fixed Income and option data.
