We currently have a position for a Business Analyst to join our Broadband and Telephony team in Business Integration Solutions (BIS) within our Technology directorate at Sky. As a Business Integration Analyst, you will work closely with business units across Sky to qualify and document product requirements and manage the process of translating these requirements into products and systems in the Broadband & Telephony space which exceed customer expectations.
You will play a pivotal role ensuring that Sky leverages Technology to achieve competitive advantage in the Broadband and Telephony space and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Sky’s Technology landscape.
Role responsibilities;
- Working closely with Product Managers and Operational Stakeholders to translate project concepts into detailed business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Working closely with the development teams to design and document solutions that meet the needs of the business using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Working closely with relevant Project Managers and delivery teams to drive the process forward, aid communication and on an interactive basis, to ensure systems are delivered that anticipate and satisfy business needs.
For the role, we are looking for you to have the following skills and experience
- Track record of working as Business Analyst, ideally in a Broadband & Telephony environment.
- Experienced in working in the Broadband & Telephony industry with demonstrable experience on OSS/BSS systems analysis (CRM, fulfilment, provisioning, assurance, billing, etc.)
- Expertise in working in a dynamic and complex environment and being involved throughout the entire project life cycle to ensure successful delivery.
- Self motivator and results orientated individual who works well under pressure in a constantly evolving technological landscape
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills. Good communicator with ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to think outside of the box in order to generate innovative and different ideas/ approaches to business challenges
The role will be based at our offices in Livingston with occasional travel to other Sky sites in the UK.
