Responsibilities
A business analyst role working closely with the business on a variety of projects, giving exposure to a broad range of credit products. The overall purpose of this exciting role consists of translating the business needs into requirements and specifications to be implemented by the development teams, as well as opportunities to coordinate some of the technology initiatives.
The credit business is currently working on the transition after the merge of both firms and it is also planning additional strategic initiatives over the next 18 months once the integration is driving to an end. The successful candidate will be specifically involved in understanding, analysing and driving both transition related projects and new business opportunities to help technology significantly improve and enhance the current systems.
This role will be to replace the current business analyst who is now leaving the firm. The new hire will be complementing the skills of the newly formed team and will mentor other existing business analyst.
Key functions will include; analysing, identifying requirements and creating detailed functional specifications for development team, coordinating projects. Working closely with the rest of the PMs/BAs, developers and testing teams and overseeing the end to end rollout to the desk.
The role will be central to the communication between traders and developers. You will be interfacing with a number of people daily as part of a large team.

Documents and reviews requirements, specifications, business processes and suggests recommendations for a proposed solution.
Candidate must have experience working as a business analyst closely with users in an investment bank.
