A Large Financial institute is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work at their offices located in Surrey. Candidates must have proven business analysis experience within an Asset Management or Investment Banking environment with a track record of successful implementations & strong business relationships. Strong domain knowledge is required covering data analysis, data warehousing, reporting and data distribution across all direct investment instruments (including derivatives) as well as funds and functions from trade confirmation.
The successful candidate will be delivery and results focused with the ability to manage complex client relationships in a challenging environment and have sound technical understanding and the commercial acumen to exploit IT for competitive advantage. Strong leadership skills, customer awareness & business support focus, coupled with excellent inter-personal, communication, documentation, facilitation & presentation skills are essential prerequisites for this role. There may be some travel.
Desirable skills:
Practical experience of working with business modelling tools e.g. UML and CASE tools e.g. EA, Rational Rose
Practical experience of working with agile/dynamic software development methodologies e.g. DSDM, XP
Experience of working to a recognised quality methodology e.g. ISO 9000, CMM, PRINCE2, SSADM
