Client Allocations Delivery Manager - EMEA - PTT

Key Deliverables
To deliver a major component of the Global Middle Office program within the Securities family strategic roadmap
- To continue and grow the existing deep relationships and smooth working between IT, Ops and SCG.
- To take ownership of a global strategic component (to be defined) and successfully architect and deliver change on that component in line with the overall securities strategic roadmap
- Continue to diversify on the knowledge in the team and eliminating any single person dependencies, reducing Run the Bank support costs
- Identify synergies between different elements of the securities program and execute plans to realize those synergies
- To identify opportunities and implement plan to accelerate decommissioning of legacy components within the application portfolio

  • Responsible for architecture, design and application delivery primarily on strategic J2EE / Weblogic components and .net components with an ORACLE database.
  • Required to architect applications to meet global requirements, to be flexible, scalable, highly resilient, future proofed and meets the architectural standards defined by the securities global architect.
  • Likely to be required to own a number of strategic components globally, responsible for application architecture, design and managing all project delivery for those components.
  • Likely to be required to oversee application delivery on legacy components within the group
  • Work in conjunction with the Production Services group to manage any major production outages and implement follow up actions arising
  • May be required to lead a small team of application architects

Experience in analysis/design of software systems in J2EE/Java platforms.
- Working knowledge of other platforms including Windows .net and Unix / C++ highly desirable
- Proven record of successful delivery of major transaction processing applications which meet demanding functional and non functional requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interface to business clients up to a senior level
- Experience of leading a team, and line management.
- Experience in Investment banking/financial industry
- Relevant experience with demonstration of working on multiple priorities at the same time
- Relevant experience in working with a global, matrixed IT and Client organization
