Client Integration Technology Analyst, Prime Brokerage Technology - AVP

The role is in within Prime Brokerage Technology, which forms part of the Global Markets Financing and Futures division.

Prime Brokerage Technology provides Global support and development for the firm's Prime Brokerage business, satisfying the demands of both internal business areas and external clients. A diverse range of systems are used globally to fulfil the trade capture, settlement and client reporting.

Requirements 
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • Brokerage experience, preferably in prime brokerage . 
  • Experience preference with writing detailed requirements specifications for IT solution delivery with a significant database component or database focus. 
  • Experience with test planning and use cases. 
  • Skilled with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio. 
  • SQL experience to conduct basic data analysis. 
  • Ability to thrive in a complex environment 
  • Exhibits intense diligence and accuracy to ensure the flow end to end details are correct 
  • Collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Extensive work experience in an Global Investment Banking environment with strong reengineering skills 
  • Extensive analysis and PM experience with global virtual teams within the business, operations, front office and development 
  • Self Starter/Independent 
  • Must be very confident in communication with senior business and IT management with good presentation skills 
  • Ability to deal with high stress situations calmly

Responsibilities
The Client Integration Technology Analyst will be the primary contact for Prime Brokerage clients, Client Integration Managers and Client Service Representatives, to support and manage the technical integration of clients. Tasks include assisting various groups with the client setup on a wide range of systems and asset classes, bespoke customisation of toolsets, participation in strategic projects and maintaining a scalable and efficient framework for client testing.

Main responsibilities will be: 
  • The Client Integration Technology Analyst is the key liaison between high profile clients and the various internal technology teams. This is a highly visible position, as the Client Integration Technology Analyst elicits and drives requirements and initiatives at multiple levels of detail for the client(s). 
  • The Client Integration Technology Analyst should have strong attention to detail and is entrusted with accurately documenting requirements and acceptance criteria for a new Client Integration or Project. 
  • The successful candidate will have a proven, good track record in client interaction, business analysis and project management with a good sense of technology. 
  • This person must be able to stand on his/her own with the business to represent the technology organization with final delivery coordination and prioritization to be confirmed. 
  • Interface with the clients and multi-disciplinary teams within to support the solution delivery process. 
  • Respond timely and professionally to any other general inquiries made by the client. 
  • Respond to any client inquiries regarding trades processing. 
  • Participate in periodic client visits. 
  • Synthesize complex and contradictory information into concise, readable, unambiguous written requirements at multiple levels of detail. 
  • Take primary ownership for written requirements specifications, from initial creation through change management and solution delivery. 
  • Assist with the delivery of the system into production by designing and supporting the formal client acceptance process, according to defined standards. 
  • Accurately document requirements and acceptance criteria for all solutions. 
  • Identify main areas of design/implementation risk and implement successful mitigating actions. 
  • Provide QA testing support. 
  • Develop implementation documentation for training/operational use.
