Collaboration Platform Technology Solutions Professional (TSP)

Role Purpose
Be part of a team selling Microsoft’ s fastest growing product - SharePoint. As a key member of the Business Productivity sales team, you will be part of the SharePoint technical pre-sales for our Enterprise and partner group; supporting Corporate customer’s adoption of this hugely popular platform. This includes proving the value of content creation and document management solutions; Line of business integration; Search and enabling customers with their intranet, internet and extranet vision for sharing information whether that be via an on-premise or online solution, and driving a higher market share, increased customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Team/Department Mission
As a Collaboration Platform Technology Solutions Professional (TSP), you will work collaboratively with Account Team Unit, Specialist Team Unit, and Partner resources to satisfy business unit goals. These goals will include achieving SharePoint revenue objectives across Microsoft’s largest customer accounts, meeting subsidiary strategic goals, operating as a virtual team member of the subsidiary, ensuring that Business Productivity products are an integral part of the account plans and opportunity focus, and evangelizing the SharePoint strategy and technologies to appropriate subsidiary/partner personnel.

Your job responsibilities will be to:
build and manage a pipeline for SharePoint and associated technologies;
drive deployment of SharePoint to achieve customer satisfaction and reference accounts / case studies for future sales and deployment;
develop in-depth understanding of SharePoint and Business Productivity Online Solutions (BPOS), and communicate the value they bring in solving business problems;
work with local Partner Account Managers to cultivate local partners and integrate them into the local engagement process as a great set of go-to partner relationships around SharePoint delivery and deployment;
Promote sales and adoption of the Microsoft Office suite as key productivity tools to be used with SharePoint.

Key Accountabilities
The SharePoint TSP is accountable to deliver the following:
1. Successfully driving the win rate within assigned Microsoft on-line or on-premise SharePoint opportunities through the delivery of technical sales engagements (ADSs, POCs, etc).
2. Developing a bill of materials and architecture that feeds into a solution proposal.
3. Developing partner engagements that drive SharePoint deployment opportunity pipeline, including document management, content creation, business intelligence and enterprise search.
4. Convincing competitive customers that Microsoft has a technically superior solution.
5. Ensuring that self-readiness, the readiness of other TSPs and team members are maintained for Microsoft’s Collaboration Platform solutions.
6. Supporting any Request for Proposal (RFP) process for opportunities focused on SharePoint.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1) Essential Experience

Strong proven track record of successfully implementing/deploying complex business productivity solutions to Enterprise customers
Proven ability to build relationships with executive level contacts in Enterprise customers &/or partners
Proven leadership experience -of internal cross functional teams & multiple partner teams.

2) Technical / Functional Skills
Strong technical background in business productivity technologies
Ability to clearly articulate the MSFT Cloud services Value Proposition

3) Personal Attributes / Interpersonal Skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong evidence of strategic thinking & leadership
Passion for technology
Drive for results
Keen and able to learn

4) Qualifications
A degree or equivalent desirable though not essential
Expected to become Microsoft certified in appropriate technologies - training will be provided

Special Requirements/Additional Information
Full driving licence
