The Entertainment & Devices Division(EDD) is home to the Xbox and Games for Windows gaming platforms; the Mobile Communications Business; the TV, Video, and Music Business;the Specialized Devices and Applications Business, which includes Microsoft Hardware,
Microsoft Surface, Office for Mac, Microsoft Auto, and Windows Embedded software; the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Information Services (MSCIS) team; and Worldwide Retail Sales & Marketing (WWRSM).
Role Purpose
The Country Manager will direct Microsoft EDD Ireland into taking a leadership position in Gaming and PC Consumer Retailing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead an energized and motivated team to plan, execute and measure all local sales and marketing activities, of Microsoft EDD products and all Microsoft products sold at Retail:EDD PC products; Mac Office, Mouse, Keyboard, PC Gaming Devices Web Cams,
–sales through all reseller channels. EDD Console Products; Xbox 360 console, Xbox360 games, Xbox360 accessories, Xbox 360 Live
– sales through all reseller channels.Key non EDD products through Retail; Office, Windows and One Care and other non EDD products through Retail channel.Manage and maximize EDD lrish P&L, driving top line revenue, profitability and market share goals, while exercising tight cost control and accurate business forecasting and planning.
People management of 3 FTE’s, responsible for team integration and team development of FTE and Vendor Staff to meet and exceed all business objectives and scale for growth.
Key part of the Local Irish Leadership Subsidiary Team as an authority on the retail / consumer business and strong business acumen to contribute to the sub.
Be a strong spokesperson for Microsoft and associated EDD products
- the passion voice behind the products to understand, articulate and communicate our strategies internally, to channel and to the press.
Responsible for ensuring high level of customer and partner satisfaction
