Futures GMI Support/Development - Global Futures Technology (AVP)

The Futures Back Office technology group is part of Global Futures Technology within the Merrill Lynch Global Markets Technology organization. The group supports Futures middle to back office processing for Merrill Lynch globally, with users and technology support located in the US, Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will focus on deliver of client needs and day to day support of the global application environment. The candidate will work closely with global technology and operations teams to ensure delivery of client needs and the smooth day to day operation of the production environment.

Responsibilities
Day to day support of the SunGard GMI, Futures clearing applications and peripheral home grown. Development of system enhancements to support client needs.

Detailed Description:
  • Working knowledge of the SunGard GMI application
  • Experience working with GMI processes and core data structures
  • Experience with embedded SQL in RPG code
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Futures market knowledge beneficial
  • Hands on experience with:
  • Futures clearing infrastructure
  • Distribute application experience beneficial SunGard ClearVision experience
  • Technical Skills: OCL, DB2, RPG, MQ, ILE, SQL, Strong SQL skills
