Informix and solidDB Sales Specialist

This role carries the responsibility for maximising the revenue and customer satisfaction within the installed base of Informix and solidDB customers through expanded use of newer feature options.

Additionally the role will require you to ensure that both Informix and solidDB is clearly positioned both within IBM and our partners to identify situations where the use of Informix and solidDB USP's might create competitive differentiation for the solution increasing revenue and footprint for IBM.

The route to market will be either direct, via business partners or key ISV organisations.

Significant product packaging and positioning enhancements are being delivered from the brand. Localisation and implementation of these global initiatives will be a priority.

The role will be a quota managing role with the goal to meet/exceed key business measurements and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities include: developing and cultivating client relationships and satisfaction, successfully resolving any complaint issues, prospecting for opportunities, managing the required pipeline.

Leverage IBM's UKI and WW resources to achieve local business objectives.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
English: Fluent
