Integration System Analyst

The Health Solutions Group is a startup business group within Microsoft offering innovative software solutions for the healthcare industry. Integration Systems Analysts are part of a team responsible for driving successful deployments of our new enterprise healthcare systems. You will work directly with our customers to help them build, configure, test and deploy world class systems solutions that could ultimately help save lives and improve the quality of patient care around the world. The ideal candidate is a self-confident, well spoken, hard working and highly organized professional, who has solid skills and experience in building relationships with customers and partners. He/she is driven to take ownership of a project and has sufficient interpersonal and technical skills to be able to take the project through all of its phases.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Drive all data integration related activities for large scale healthcare systems implementations 
  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and configure their system appropriately 
  • Perform detailed analysis of incoming interfaces from existing and new healthcare IT systems 
  • Lead configuration and testing activities for interface connections into Microsoft systems 
  • Help troubleshoot any interface-related customer issues 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the implementation processes 
  • Provide input to the development team on product enhancements/features

Ideal candidates will have the following knowledge, qualifications and experience: 
  • Significant experience in the field of EDI, interfaces, healthcare information systems development and clinical data management 
  • Healthcare Industry experience required 
  • Detailed working knowledge and hands-on experience with HL7 interface analysis and development (ADT, orders, results, billing, etc.) 
  • Working knowledge of DICOM and other Healthcare Data standards is preferred 
  • Experience with SCOM, BizTalk is a plus 
  • Strong knowledge of SQL database structures and queries 
  • Scripting experience with C#, VB.Net languages required 
  • Understanding of TCP/IP communications 
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity start up environment 
  • Strong problem solving skills 
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop and implement appropriate technical solutions 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • 30-50% travel across Europe 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
