Intranet Programme Manager (Transformation & Online)

Purpose of the role is to manage the delivery of the GMT transformational statements on employee self service.
Own Intranet transformation programme in support of GMT goals. Take the overarching strategy and define and drive a program of activity to deliver this, through the Web Factory, UK technology or Vodafone Group Services. Ensure the programme is prioritised, funded and resourced and fully committed to across senior stakeholders and Vodafone Group.
Deliver capabilities to defined quality standards (functional and non-functional. Manage the project managers from T&O accountable for individual project elements

Essence of Role
What 
  • Accountable for end to end delivery of the intranet programme, including execution and benefits realisation (fiscal and customer) 
  • Defines and develops programme elements, milestones and metrics in order the achieve the outcome of the Transformational Statement approved by the GMT and the overall intranet architecture and vision 
  • Accountable for the planning, prioritisation, development and coordination of all elements of the programme across all parts of the business 
  • Drives delivery either through WebFactory, Technologly of Vodafone Group services in support of programme 
  • Identifies all ongoing work within the business related to the programme, and ensures delivery within the overall strategic direction of the transformation 
  • Accountable for building the programme business case and the metrics to track progress 
  • Alongside the Heads of Departments secures the necessary resource and expertise from around the business to deliver the transformation (HR, Finance, Property, Customer Services, Technology and VGS) 
  • Accountable for prioritisation of work within the programme 
  • Works alongside relevant departments to define all necessary work packages needed to deliver the change 
  • Coordination of all programme resources in relation to quality and timeliness of outputs 
  • Plans, analyses, controls and monitors the output of the programme, coupled into T&O Programmes team 
  • Maintains a strategic focus by ensuring a mechanism to identify and manage risks and issues 
  • Represents the programme, its scope, progress and requirements in all other T&O programmes 
  • Responsible for ensuring the programme is high on the agenda of all required enabling programmes across the organisation 
  • Accountable for ensuring all change delivered is sustainable, and that old ways of working are “switched off” 
  • A key player in the change incubator

  • Ensure that employee experience is prioritised at all points in the plan 
  • Represent the programme plan and share it’s purpose, scope and benefits to any stakeholders 
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to the programme as the “champion” for change 
  • Provides clear direction to all team members (virtual from T&O project management pool) and engages senior decision makers where appropriate 
  • Brokers relationships with stakeholders around the business and in Vodafone Group to ensure alignment of plans 
  • Drive a culture of transformation through a “can do” approach 
  • Works well in a “Start Up” environment 
  • Work flexibly across varied subject matters, and horizontally across the team without engaging through a formal, hierarchical structure
