Summary
- Situated in the Purchasing Department, taking an active role in providing support to the Purchasing Manager, Asset Manager and Purchasing Administrator.
- In addition to involvement in day to day support, the Trainee will be involved in administrative mini project work.
- Previous project work has included stock room rotation, implementation of new purchase order databases and purchasing procedures
- Appropriate time and training will be supplied where necessary.
Mission
- Taking an active role in providing support to the Purchasing Team
- Ensuring Service Level Agreements for delivery of all IT items
- Ensuring that, in addition to providing a day to day support service, we constantly improve processes and look to take a proactive attitude to the resolution of problems.
Main Areas of Responsibility
- To provide a full audit of all stock rooms and assigned stock areas providing and maintaining the stock control system.
- Feeding back relevant Asset details to the Asset Manager
- To organise ITEC software
- To help the hardware engineer with the disposal of equipment
- To help with the raising of purchase orders
- To perform Call Management duties every morning and respond to User/ITEC Support requests
- To chase Peoplesoft signatories for sign off
- Creation of procedural documentation.
- Completion of assigned project work.
