Java J2SE Developer - Investment Banking, London

A leading investment bank is looking for a strong problem solving developer with excellent software engineering abilities to play an integral role in its Credit Derivatives flow Technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a global development team with forward thinking developers who have a keen interest in knowledge sharing.

To be successful in this role, you will have an excellent academic background with some commercial experience of Java J2SE, SQL, UNIX and the full development lifecycle. Knowledge of derivatives and electronic trading technologies in the front-office of a trading organisation is essential. Experience in Credit Derivatives, Fixed Income or one of the other asset classes, while not essential, is advantageous. The desire to understand the financial products is crucial.
