Summary
The E&D division contains all Microsoft’s flagship consumer products including Xbox360, Webcams, Keyboards, Games for Windows as well as Windows and Office. We are currently looking for a dynamic and creative leader to join the team based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be somebody who has a passion for technology, who inspires their team and colleagues with both vision and execution excellence and who likes to roll their sleeves up get stuck in and solve real world business problems.
The primary focus for this leader is to partner with E&D stakeholder groups such as Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing and Localization to deliver innovative solutions built on both Microsoft technology and our core ERP solution SAP. Our strategy is to deliver business solutions in an agile manner through 30/60/90 day releases.
As a manager reporting directly into the Director of Solutions Management you will be responsible for managing a high performing team of solution managers whose primary focus is on the planning and delivery of solutions through projects and continuous improvement programs. You will focus on key areas such as Order Management, Inventory Management, Forecasting & Planning, CRM as well as Business Intelligence. You will deliver world class technical solutions but will also work with clients and our internal Business Process Excellence team to drive process excellence. Some of your team will be Lean/Six Sigma trained to support that strategy.

Responsibilities
Manage a team of 5-10 solution managers through commitment setting, 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, recruiting etc.
Manage critical relationships with stakeholders ensuring initiatives and priorities are aligned and drive long term business value
Participate in(and lead where possible)global initiatives
Continually stay abreast of trends and opportunities in technology(with specific focus on Supply Chain)
Essential Requirements
5-7 years demonstrated experience in delivering solutions at a senior level preferably in a multinational environment
SAP R3 experience particularly with SD and MM modules
Degree (or higher) in Engineering or Computing discipline
Experience in managing virtual teams to deliver on programs
5+ years People Management experience
Ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside group.
Ability to understood the client and technology ecosystem (industry, best practices, tools and technology landscape, competitor offerings, and so on)
Desirable Requirements
CRM implementation experience
Business Intelligence/Reporting solutions delivery
Lean/Six Sigma qualification and/or experience
