Job Description
Enterprise Systems (ES) is vested with the authority and accountability for:
The development of Strategic Direction and Roadmaps for all Enterprise Systems;
The definition of Architecture, Strategy and Standards within the Enterprise Systems Domain;
An Enterprise Systems Project Execution Engine resourced by a talent pool deploying applications standards, tools and methods;
The development and maintenance of Enterprise-wide shared components and associated services;
The “silent running” of applications in accordance with established service levels with the business. Support components to include application service desk, base applications support, service delivery and business process analysis with key interfaces to the business, GOI and suppliers.
The Integrated Solution Delivery Centre (ISDC) is the central design and development organisation within ES. The ISDC is comprised of the Demand & Supply, Functional Solutions, Technical Services, Integration Services, Data Services and Operations.
The Master Data Management Lead is
Responsible for reviewing and monitoring master data services and standards, maintenance of global master data in SAP NetWeaver MDM (MDM) and supporting deployment projects as the MDM Subject Matter Expert (SME). And,
Ensures that master data system requirements are aligned with the MDM principles and the overall data architecture governance. Analyses the performance and quality of creation and maintenance of global master data in MDM and links to the various project and deployment teams in both SAP and non-SAP environments to improve the effectiveness of MDM implementation.
This role reports to the Head of Data Services.
Qualifications University degree or specialised training or equivalent work experience
Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Project/Programme ManagementKnowledge and experience of recognised quality assurance frameworks, specifically CMMI or ITILExperience in the orchestration of metrics/management reportingSAP implementation experience (if possible)Strong understanding of Master Data Management technologies and tools.Strong process mapping & documentation experience within and enterprise applications environmentSignificant knowledge of data management tools and relevant process gained in a complex global corporation.Logical structured thought and problem solving process, structured approachExperience of managing data cleanse and data quality initiatives Proven track record of workstream management e.g. writing, managing and tracking a planProven track record of managing and motivating teams Demonstrated ability to work on projects with limited guidance, proactivity and initiativeDemonstrated ability in logical thinking and problem solving using structured approaches
