This newly created position is for a self-motivated and pro-active new business developer to join the womenintechnology team to take responsibility for selling both traditional contingency recruitment services and online recruitment advertising solutions / sponsorship packages to major blue chip companies, RPOs and media buyers.
This new business development role will involve:
• Researching who is responsible for purchasing job board advertising / recruitment services within target organisations
• Calling prospective sales leads using a structured sales technique
• Following up on multiple warm sales leads provided by the rest of the womenintechnology team
• Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with clients at senior management levels (in the business, in diversity and in recruitment teams)
• Developing bespoke recruitment solutions and sponsorship packages
• Arranging and attending face to face sales meetings
• Maintaining a clear record of sales and where clients are in the sales process
• Ongoing sales management of the client base
The experience required for this role includes:
• Proven hands-on new business development skills within contingency recruitment, recruitment advertising / sales, job board advertising or media sales
• Previous experience of selling to large corporates and blue chip firms
• Proven ability to build excellent relationships at senior levels amongst business users and within recruitment teams
• Well-honed ability to actively network to gain referrals in order to maximise revenue
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to present sales pitches both formally and informally
• A solid background in researching potential sales leads using the internet, networking events and sales databases
• The ability to work autonomously, to achieve against targets and to identify new channels for revenue generation and account growth
• A sound knowledge of online and digital media is preferred
• A good knowledge of information technology skill sets and terminology as well as an understanding of problems facing the IT industry is preferred
• An appreciation of recruitment / HR and diversity issues is highly advantageous

The position is permanent, full time and will be based in central London - our offices are near Liverpool Street Station. Travel may be required to visit potential clients as well as some evening work when the new business development executive would be expected to attend networking events.
The compensation package will include:
• Competitive basic salary with a realistic and attainable commission structure (uncapped)
• 22.5 days holiday increasing to 25 over a set period
