We are looking for Oracle Hyperion Project Managers/Delivery Leads to join our Oracle team. The Oracle Hyperion Project Managers will be responsible for managing the delivery of HFM or Hyperion Planning programs as well as supporting sales activities for future Hyperion programs.
Technical skills: Candidates are expected to have an excellent understanding of the overall Hyperion Fusion 11/System 9 platform including any of the following Oracle BI and Performance Management solutions:
• HFM and/or Hyperion Planning (highly desirable)
• OBIEE, Essbase, Strategic Finance, HPCM, DRM, ODI and FDQM (desirable)
Candidates should also have a good understanding of strategic planning, financial consolidation and financial planning functional processes and the integration of these within an overall enterprise performance management framework.
In addition, the following would be highly advantageous:
• Oracle Hyperion Certifications
• A relevant Finance or Accounting qualification (ACA, ACMA or equivalent)
• Project Management qualifications e.g. Prince 2, APM, MSP, ISEB or equivalent
Professional requirements:Candidates will be expected to be able to demonstrate the following via practical and real life experience:
• In depth experience of project managing at least 3-4 full project lifecycle implementations of HFM and/or Hyperion Planning solutions in particular. Project Management of wider scale solutions including the above with OBIEE and other performance management solutions such as Strategic Finance would be highly advantageous.
• A full and detailed understanding of project complexity and timeline drivers specific to Hyperion solutions in order to be able to scope and carry out detailed planning for project delivery including release strategies
• Experience of large scale project management including the following:
- Stakeholder and supplier management
- Risk and issue management
- Project budget and forecast management
- Project reporting - team and steering group levels
- Quality reviews
Team performance management and reporting
• Experience in the sales process including taking responsibility for completion of detailed estimates, approach and project delivery planning. Candidates will be expected to manage a wider bid team where the scope dictates with assistance from relevant Subject Matter Experts within the global practice.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide direction to cross-functional teams responsible for resolution of complex functional and technical challenges including both internal, Oracle Hyperion and client teams.
• Experience of operating within delivery methodology frameworks, preferably within a major consultancy
• First class communications skills in English (verbal and written) and be comfortable working and presenting at senior client executive levels
• Good first degree and/or post degree qualification from a recognized educational institution
• Willingness to travel and work away from home where required during normal working week
