Partner Account manager - Retail

Role Purpose
Lead and manage the UK E & D Distribution & Breadth team delivering the E & D distribution strategy, with close collaboration with SMS&P org, increasing reach, yield and market share penetration with: 
  • Tier 2 resellers/retailers. 
  • B2B resellers. 
  • Independent retailers.

Maximise investment in channel by growing overall revenue of Interactive Entertainment and PC products including SW and peripherals.

With your team, proactively seek new and innovative ways of developing business through the multi channel strategies.

Deliver sales in the region of c. $250m pa, in conjunction with the EDD group key distribution partners through excellence in strategy planning, implementing and evolving leading edge marketing campaigns and sales promotions.

Forecast and monitor performance of each of the targeted categories across the distribution landscape - constantly reviewing total performance against budget, plan and forecast.

Direct and manage the use marketing budgets to deliver overall revenue.

The Entertainment & Devices Division vision is to become an integrated platform division creating end-to-end customer scenarios while generating profitability and high customer satisfaction.

The UK Distribution and Breadth team’s has responsibility for maintaining a healthy distribution network delivering revenue growth, partner satisfaction, enabling consumers and small businesses to learn, have fun, and get things done.

Key Accountabilities
Manage, lead and develop talent within the distribution and breadth team.
Over achievement of customer revenue targets.
Management and development of MS relationship with key partners to and MD level.
Profitable management of product lifecycles.
Maximum return on investment on promotional and marketing activity.
Accurate forecasting and management of product inventory and rebate activity.
Increase in Customer/Partner Experience ratings.

Key Success Criteria
Increase of partner and staff satisfaction.
Delivering distribution excellence in conjunction with SMS&P
Over achievement of E&DD Revenue goals
Achievement of budgeted ‘Revenue per licenses’
Increase in Retail Partner CPE scores.
Effective & efficient Trade marketing and OPEX spend.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1) Essential Experience
Significant experience in Sales / Sales Management / Partner Management within the retail/consumer channel.
Proven experience in running a retail/consumer channel to market with a team of direct reports.
Proven track record of working with all types of retail and distribution partners at a senior level.

2) Technical/Functional Skills
Track record in successfully driving sales growth & effective marketing campaigns.
Ability to communicate at board level, intellectualize strategic problems and deliver creative/innovative solutions for sustainable business performance.
Must be able to use key Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

3) Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills
Strong sales management and virtual teaming skills
High bandwidth and the ability to keep a raft of things running concurrently
Experience of sector / industry knowledge
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good organisational skills and time management.
Commercially and strategically aware.
Able to work effectively in a fast paced business and manage multiple priorities

High levels of skill in:
a. Negotiation
b. Oral & written communication
c. Numerical analysis and reporting
d. Change management
e. Prioritization
f. Handling objections and negotiation

4) Qualifications
Essential: GCSE / 'O' Levels to include Math and English, ‘A’ Levels,
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree (Business or related studies,)
Full Driving License
