Partner Evangelist / Technical Relationship Manager

Role Purpose
The ISV Evangelist mission is to drive platform adoption and revenue growth with the UK’s largest and most influential ISVs. This person will build trusted-advisor relationships with the technical decision makers inside our most important ISV’s. Alongside Partner Account Managers, the person will jointly manage the relationship with approximately 12 of our Field and Tele-Managed ISV accounts, building and growing our technical relationship with them.

You will articulate the benefits of the Microsoft platform - such as Windows client/server/phone, SQL Server, Office client and server, .NET and Windows Azure - to the key technology influencers within the ISVs, including CTO, Architects and Influential developers. You'll lead technical meetings between executives at senior levels within the organization and leveraging your strong understanding of ISVs, help them determine product strategy.

Using your knowledge and extensive experience you will orchestrate teams in both companies to build better products, providing architectural insight and delivering sufficient technical depth on MS products, either yourself, from within the team or elsewhere in Microsoft, to secure adoption.

You will work as one team with the ISVs’ respective PAMs, developing a strategy and executing tactics to align the product offerings of both companies, resulting in measurable development initiatives. You'll interact with everyone from the executive staff, to architects, developer to the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and success around mutual technology initiatives.

The results of your efforts should be shipping products which exploit and differentiate the Microsoft platform, nurture educated developers and grow healthy industry vertical segment partnerships.

In addition to ISVs, on occasion you will be required to engage alongside a PSA in end-customer opportunities to help drive their technology adoption leading to high profile customer evidence and support the publication of the evidence through DPE breadth channels.
You will need to be aware of the DPE strategy for engaging both breadth ISV and technical audiences and, where possible, ensure that your ISV partner engagements generate content for wide publication.
