Project Manager - Global Rates and Currencies Technology (VP)

Team Specific Structure and Responsibilities:
The On-Demand Risk team is a global, cross business team responsible for generating much of the risk and pricing data for the Rates and Currencies businesses. It currently has around 50 employees covering development, infrastructure and project management located in London, NY, Chennai and Mumbai. There is a separate frontline support team, 12 strong. The ODR system is a strategic global risk solution within Bank of America Merrill Lynch. This investment has provided a platform upon which many added-value and revenue-generating solutions have been built.

Responsibilities
  • Project Manager accountable for the delivery of multiple project streams for the EMEA Rates business.
  • The candidate will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and implementation of project deliverables.
  • Manage the tasks of a multi-disciplined team in order to execute the plans on time.
  • Liaise with EMEA business stakeholders in particular Traders, Market Risk Managers and Finance groups.
  • Liaise with core team in London.
Requirements
Essential: 
  • Minimum 4 years Project Management experience. 
  • Experience of the full lifecycle of software development and delivery. 
  • Experience in Global Markets. 
  • Knowledge of Rates and Currencies businesses (desirable) 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Strong numerical skills ideally with a numerate degree. 
  • Strong understanding of distributed architecture.
