IT Investment Banking is currently looiking for a Project Manager / PMO to join the team in London
ROLE SUMMARY:
- Implement and maintain a global Project Governance structure based on existing Investment Banking IT Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) standards
- Programme and Project Management of major global initiatives for the DTACC function
- Develop key relationships and drive delivery
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
This role is critical to the successful delivery of major 2010 initiatives and as such the following key deliverables must be put in to practice and adopted as soon as possible:
- Devise, implement and maintain global project governance based on existing Iinvestment Banking SDLC standards.
- Develop and establish project management standards & best practices including project scope, project approvals, validation of project documentation, cost allocations, cost forecasting, risk & issue tracking, regular status reporting, progress and performance monitoring and remediation where necessary
- Project manage major global programmes/projects through to successful delivery
- Develop and manage delivery plans
- Manage delivery of key technology providers outside of DTACC
- Liaise with Architecture Governance and Controlling team, compile & oversee DTACC Book of Work. Reconcile BoW cost estimates against budgets & actuals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders & other IT providers including regular communication forums
TO QUALIFY YOU MUST POSSESS:
- Ideally from an IT Infrastructure or Engineering background
- Preferably PMP / PRINCE 2 Qualified; OR demonstrable delivery capability
- Banking industry experience not essential
- Strong collaboration skills
- Clear and open communicator, builds confidence and trust
- Strong influencing skills
- Self starting, proactive approach

- Enthusiastic
