Role Purpose
As a member of the Public Sector leadership team the Account Technical Strategist Manager is responsible for leading the ATS team to support the sales efforts within Public Sector accounts and to drive adoption and deployment of Microsoft solutions and products to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of UK Public Sector. The ATS Manager works closely with the Public Sector ATU Directors, Sales Team Units and Business Groups to plan and execute on strategies across the Public Sector business unit. You will be expected to develop customer engagement campaigns to achieve Revenue Quotas, Cloud, Compete and Deployment initiatives throughout Public Sector. This role is responsible for negotiating, communicating, implementing and delivering scorecard metrics.
The Public Sector ATS team structure consists of 2 X Team Lead roles with a total organisation size of 12 employees.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of technical innovation, technical readiness and team unit plans for all areas within the Public Sector business.
Design and delivery of creative content and demonstration capability to support market requirements resulting in sales and deployment of Microsoft technologies and delivery of scorecard metrics.
Proficient at leading and motivating individuals and teams to support customer opportunities and engagements.
Responsible for owning, developing and maintaining senior executive relationships within key public sector accounts, outsourcers and partners.
Accountable at a worldwide level for key scorecard metrics including deployment.
Driver of collaboration across the UK business ensuring that innovative and creative solutions are delivered to our customers and partners
Key participant in Worldwide Public Sector Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
Success in this role will be achieved by driving thought leadership, customer satisfaction and team management.

Essential Experience
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of people management/leadership
Demonstrable industry knowledge within the Public Sector (desired)
Strong communicator with experience of engaging across multiple levels of seniority and culture.
Highly motivated individual with strong business acumen and organisational skills
Demonstrable relevant customer facing experience gained within a major vendor, customer, partner, consultancy or systems integrator
Experience of MS Products and Solutions built with MS technologies that have been deployed into the sector
Excellent business skill, including pre-sales experience working with FTSE 100 companies
Experience of IT in the Public Sector
