PWM IT - Portfolio Management Developer

PWM IT is the technology team dedicated for developing and maintaining tools for Private Wealth Management users globally. As part of a multi year strategy, PWM is embarking on an ambitious plan to revamp the technology platform.

The role is for a developer in the team responsible for replacing existing portfolio management platform for PWM globally. It will involve low level technical design, development and unit testing. The ideal candidate should have strong UI (win forms or WPF) development experience in .Net. Previous experience in developing/maintaining investment management tools or other financial service tools for asset managers will be very useful. Experience in multiple technologies will be very useful.

Skills Required
Good.Net (C# preferable) development experience
Experience of building multi-threaded applications
Win forms or WPF experience with C#
Good knowledge of database (prefer SQLServer or Sybase) and SQL
Excellent communication skills are essential, together with ability to work in a team, due to the global nature of the group.

Skills Desired 
  • Experience in multiple technologies will be beneficial 
  • Experience in building portfolio management or asset management tools will be ideal 
  • Able to develop, integrate and maintain multi-tier applications on enterprise scale 
  • Effective communication skills to work directly with users or other technology teams 
  • Works well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
