SAP Functional Analyst

Key Features of the role
A SAP Functional Analyst assists in the development, delivery and management of technology-based business solutions. Successful candidates will have experience in areas ranging from SAP module configuration to SAP Technical Architecture and demonstrate a deep understanding of one of the following; a SAP module, a SAP solution, the SAP development workbench, SAP integration, SAP security and administration or SAP architecture.

What we're looking for
The role will involve spending a large proportion of time at client sites so flexibility with location is essential.

Key Responsibilities include: 
  • Supporting the design process by participating in the analysis of requirements and the documentation of design specifications 
  • Configuring and testing SAP modules and solutions according to design specifications 
  • Working with offshore teams to clarify functional designs and technical requirements from the onshore team 
  • Participating in the execution of testing phases to ensure that the SAP application and platform meets user and performance requirements 
  • Executing conversion plans and working with clients to document process improvements 
  • Providing user support in maintaining and tuning SAP applications.

Qualifications
Skills Requirements:
We are looking for technical professionals in functional design and technical development, with successful commercial development experience in at least one of the following modules: 
  • SAP - BW 
  • SAP - FICO 
  • SAP – SCM
Use within a SAP environment: 
  • BW reporting 
  • Business Objects 
  • Cube and Data store design & data architecture

  • Ability to work as a team member 
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment 
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
