Summary of Business Area
Global Payments and International Branch Technology organization (GP&IBT) provides support and maintenance of applications for the Bank’s treasury wholesale business in EMEA.
Responsibilities
The role involves following established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, supports, maintains, procedures, documents and tracking tools that support business applications. This is an individual contributor role, fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, and often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed. Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed. Often responsible for the completion of small scale projects. Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates. Has extensive & specific business knowledge or technical skill set e.g. Quantitative skills, Data processing, Data administration, Compliance, Enterprise and technology Risk, System Architecture, etc.
This role will be responsible for following specific activities:
1. Single point of contact for all regulatory, risk, audit and mandatory activities and exercises within the technology department
2. Technology/Application Access Reviews – monthly/quarterly
3. Application Recovery/BC Tests – coordination and on-site support
4. Information Security engagement and project support
5. Vendor/Third Party Supplier Manager Role – Application focused engagement
6. SOX & SAS70 audits – coordination and management oversight
7. Country regulatory related response – Example RBI review in India
8. Monthly Risk Deliverables
9. Information Security related mandates and routines
10. Application platform reviews, documentation review, updates and related coordination efforts
11. Management/administration of 120+ (and growing) applications and related Risk/Audit ratings and systems updates.
12. New application on-boarding
13. Various risk/audit/compliance task management activities on a day to day basis
14. Manage small/business as usual projects (with risk/compliance focus) within the department
15. Routine management updates and departmental communications
16. Pipeline management of work requests relating to Risk/Audit/Compliance/Regulatory events
