Summary of Business Area
The Global Commercial Corporate Investment Banking Technology (GCCIBT) team provides strategy and architecture, project management, risk management, and development/testing support for the Global Product Solutions Line of Business (LOB) focusing on Client management, sales, fulfilment, and service.
The Strategy, Architecture and Shared Application Services Technology team is responsible for translating business strategy into objectives for building, enhancing or replacing business and system capabilities, for creating implementation frameworks/target states/roadmaps, for managing the IT asset portfolio, for governing the IT Strategy, for developing payments and integration shared services and for building the next generation of electronic low value payments processing (ACH).
Role Responsibilities
The Information Architecture team is part of the Specialized Architecture and Information Capabilities team and is responsible for the following:
Articulation and implementation of the overarching information strategy and its related framework components, e.g. metadata, data modelling, data quality, data integration, business intelligence, and Client information management Provision of architecture support to initiatives to ensure alignment to strategic objectives Collaboration with enterprise and divisional architecture teams to promote consistent practices at all levels of the organization Establishing a foundational set of information capabilities that may be leveraged across the Global Product Solutions (GPS) LOB Leading the information management related activies for file Request Processor (fRP) Supporting the development and adoption of a global data provisioning strategy with a focus on international data sources Defining and managing target client reference data models where appropriate Developing and supporting data / information management capabilities such as metadata, data modeling, data quality, data movement, and business intelligence Promoting the GPST architecture direction of moving to a services-oriented model Partnering with GBSWMTO and Enterprise Strategy and Architecture and GCCIBT Solution Architecture teams
Skill Required
Essential:
Strong creative vision and experience with transactional databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server), analytical data platforms (Teradata), ETL tools, Metadata Management and Data Quality Management. Experience with Treasury Services applications and Six Sigma methodology preferred Demonstrated experience with modelling, e.g. data modelling, data flow analysis, process modelling, etc. · Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills. Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously Strategic Vision / Planning Business Acumen Global Perspective Relationship Management Secondary: (Not required but advantageous) Experience Developing Architecture/Technology Strategies Experience With Master Data Management And Semantic Modelling Experience With User-Centred Design Process And Methodology Experience Selecting Technology Vendors Through A Formal Evaluation Process (Rfi / Rfp, Etc.) Program management
