A prestigious Financial Services company based in Surrey seeks a Senior Project Manager who owns and drives end to end delivery of significant projects, and is accountable for successfully meeting project objectives and for managing to the scope, schedule, financial and quality tolerances agreed by the steering committee.
Essential skills
Proven experience delivering technology projects in excess of $2M
Ability to drive and motivate a project team
Strong knowledge and hands on experience of PM fundamentals
Strong knowledge of pensions, particularly group pensions
Knowledge and understanding of the application of software technology
Confidence, Drive and Enthusiasm, with the ability to impart a sense of urgency to the project team
Strong communication skills, personable and articulate
Experience working with geographically & culturally diverse team
Structure, follow through and ability to manage own time
Ability to rapidly assimilate new areas of knowledge
Experience of working with structured development methods such as FSDM, SSADM, RUP, DSDM
