A leading organisation based in London is currently looking for a Senior Trade Floor Support Analyst with proven experience in an IT and Investment Management/Financial Services environment to provide 1st/2nd Line application support to their end users.
Key accountabilities include:
- Knowledge in the support of financial and market data products such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Market Data Services, DataStream, ICV Topic, TradeWeb, etc
- Demonstrable knowledge and in-depth experience of remote control tools such as Dameware, Microsoft remote desktop, Altiris, etc
- Demonstratable knowledge and in-depth experience in the support of Windows XP, MS Office 2002 - 2007 and MS Exchange/ Outlook 2002 - 2007
- Demonstratable knowledge and in-depth experience of supporting laptops and remote connectivity via VPN, via wi-fi and 3G
- Good understanding and use of TCP/IP protocols
- Proven experience for Blackberry and mobile phone support
- Understanding of Voice and Desktop communications
- Demonstrable experience in the support proprietary/in-house developed applications
- Excellent knowledge of PC/Printer hardware with the ability to diagnose and fault resolution
- Working knowledge of NT Domains and Active Directory, including group policy
- Ability to learn new technical concepts rapidly
- Expert problem solving skills and troubleshooting knowledge
- Graduate Calibre or HNC and Industry Recognised Qualifications – MCP, MCSE, CNA, CNE, ACE would be an advantage
The successful candidate will have a professional and excellent telephone manner, and a desire to build relationships with key business stakeholders /VIP. He or she will have a keen interest in understanding business structure and business processes and have proven experience as a member of a high performing remote support/help desk team across all varying levels.
