Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) is a division of BSkyB delivering betting and gaming services such as sports betting, poker, bingo and casino games to customers through internet, mobile, interactive TV and telephone channels.
We now have an exceptional opportunity for highly credible Senior Test Engineer to join us in playing an important role in ensuring Sky Betting & Gaming’s test activities are planned and executed for new functionality.
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Stage Management for the Test phase of one or more projects
* Ownership for the production of test estimates based on various inputs to prepare and execute the test phase.
* Provision of the Test Approach/Strategy documents to drive the test phase.
* Establishing improved test automation scripts, using most appropriate toolset in line with strategy
* Prioritisation of workload for Team Members
* Ensures all quality checks and deliverable reviews are undertaken
* Identification of Test Environment and Test Data requirements
* Creation and execution of tests in accordance with the Test Approach including maintenance of regression test packs.
* Represents the Test community across the project delivery lifecycle providing positive contribution in all aspects of the role
* Communicating progress against plan for any work packages.
* Contributes to the communication and implementation of test strategy, standards and procedures
To be successful in this role you must have;
* ISEB Foundation qualified
* A proven track record in the delivery of complex projects
* Demonstrable experience mentoring / developing team members on processes, methods and tools
* Fantastic analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent MS Office skills including word and excel.
* The ability to build and maintain internal/external stakeholder relationships
* Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks while providing accurate progress reports.
* An energy and enthusiasm to drive quality, to improve the service that we provide and to challenge current methods.
* Experience of testing in an online business environment
