Solution Architect - Notes Compete Global Practice

The Global Practices team (as part of global Services HQ) has responsibility for developing highly skilled global teams that can assist the field and product groups in the early wins and adoption/implementation of Microsoft growth technologies in the enterprise space.

The focus of Microsoft Notes Compete in FY10 and beyond is a comprehensive model which includes product licensing, services sales and delivery support for migration and internal/external partner enablement including MCS and external partners. Landing the Notes Compete Global Practice program in the worldwide geographies requires Solution global practice leadership in each region of the world to develop relationships with management leadership in EPG, MCS and the IW BG. Success also requires working with the Notes Compete Leads in each region, both IW and EPG as well as the EPG acct execs and MCS SE’/Architects.

EMEA represents a significant portion of the worldwide Notes Compete market. Through research the Global Practice has done in various Microsoft systems, we have identified approximately 500 Notes Accounts with Notes seats ranging from 4,000 seats to 100,000 seats. Of these 400 accounts, approximately 250 are in EMEA. Within the 500 accounts, the Notes Compete Global Practice is engaged in approximately 65 accounts, either having discussions, qualifying, developing scope, proposing or engaging in assessments or detailed discovery. Of those 65 accounts, approximately 21 are currently in EMEA.
