Key features of the role
The Solution Architect (SA) plays a critical role in helping Accenture's clients achieve high performance. The SA will operate alongside Business and IT stakeholders to understand the relevant business processes and the role information technology must play as an enabler. The SA will analyze, design and present options for how to achieve a client's strategic vision in respect of their retail commercial operations. During qualifying, contracting and delivering, the SA will define pragmatic, cost-effective, proven solutions, clearly articulating considerations, risks, mitigating strategies, etc. During delivery, the SA will lead the design, build, test and deployment of the solution.

What we're looking for
You should have strong experience of implementing the Ventyx or former-Lodestar software products for the commercial arm of retail utilities and/or the energy trading arm of retail utilities. You will also have experience of implementing IT solutions in one of the following areas: Forecasting, Pricing, Settlements, Position Management, Portfolio Management, Risk Management.

• Proven training and coaching abilities
• Your base location will be London, although most of our consultants work on lengthy client engagements within the UK and Ireland. Therefore you must be willing to work away from home Monday to Friday as required.
